  1. I finally saw the movie. What I got out of it was Wakanda was a gated community that did not allow other Black people in it. They were too bourgeoisie to deal with other Blacks. So they were elitist. Sounds familiar. Why would you celebrate something like this? Plus there were other movies where Blacks were the main characters. This is sort of disrespectful to Black actors of the past.

  2. I’m Korean and I can’t understand a thing coming out of that “Korean” market lady’s mouth. It was complete gibberish. She’s likely not even Korean because Korean does not sound like that by any stretch of the imagination. I could actually understand what Lupita was saying without subtitles which is more than I can say for most of the supposed native speakers. But that’s because Lupita is a badass. Thank you for putting in that time and effort, Lupita. Respect.

Decent movie, made 1000x better by Shuri. “Don’t scare me like that, colonizer” lol.

  3. So sad many colonizers did not like the movie. Considering the hue of the cast, the soundtrack choices, theme, location (continent NOT country), Black royalty and the struggles of Kilmonger are outside your familiar – it's not hard to tell why. But, you go off though 🤣

  4. Best thing I've ever heard "Just bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from the ships because they knew death was better than bondage ." 🙏🏾 I felt that , this movie is really good .
