  1. It would've been helpful if they showed how much the total cost will be? to see whether it's realistic spending that much on tailored fit furniture for a rental apartment.

  2. While it does look nice I don't think it was such a good idea to move the bed out of the nook. Her plan was to entertain more, now all her dinner guests have to go past her bed to reach the table. And it's farthest from the kitchen as well, not practical. I think the dining area should have been right next to the kitchen and the bed should have stayed in the nook. And then maybe put a room divider at the foot of the bed and the sofa with the back towards the bed so the bed is more out of sight. Bed immediately visible to guests is always awkward, should always avoid that whenever possible.

  4. I have the shoe cabinet and it is awesome. I use it in my mud room/ foyer. I used to have shoes piled near the door. It got them up off the floor. I also put up a wood rack for coats/scarves. Now the area looks neat and organized. Inexpensive simple changes that made a huge difference in my decor.

  5. I like the makeover and the person you did it for. She needed the help getting stuff off the floor and the redo looks warm and dynamic.
Makes me giggle that her shoes are under the TV, though.
